DGtal took on the challenge to create a dynamic website for Subway's Middle East market, centered around the 'Yours To Make' contest. This interactive platform allowed users to design their own subs by choosing from a variety of breads, vegetables, meats, and seasonings, then giving their creations unique names and submitting them. Participants were encouraged to share their custom subs on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, aiming to garner the most likes and shares. The top entries, based on their consolidated social media likes, were eligible to win $2000 each.
Our user experience designers and developers collaborated closely to deliver a top-tier website within the specified timeframe. The site was bilingual, offering content in both English and Arabic, with Arabic copywriting included in our project scope.
Ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience was paramount. Our technical team dedicated extensive effort to setting up the website on Amazon cloud, optimizing it to handle high traffic without slowing down or lagging.
The contest was a resounding success, and the website's excellence was recognized with a Silver award at a prestigious digital media awards ceremony in the UAE.
